Dear Non-Profit Friends and Colleagues,
UConn Avery Point by the sea is a delightful place to be, especially in October, and we have planned a fantastic festival to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our campus. The date is Sunday October 15, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a rain date of Sunday October 22. If you would like to be included in the festival you can reserve a space on the front lawn of Branford House to showcase the work of your non-profit organization.
The festival will have something for all ages – live bands; marine sciences displays; faculty and student research flash talks and presentations; games and activities for kids; food; and more. We are also providing local non-profit organizations the opportunity to represent the work they do in and for the community.
All interested non-profit organizations may participate by downloading and printing the below application, filling it out, and returning it to us with a check for the nominal fee of $50.00. This is a flat rate, and no portion of your sales is due to event management. For consideration, applications must be postmarked or received by September 29. This will reserve you a 10’ X 10’ space on the Branford House lawn for your own free-standing booth area. Only tables may be used on the lawn; no trailers or carts. If you plan to sell merchandise, please include that information on the application.
The grounds will open to vendors for setup at 8:00 am; breakdown should not occur before 4:00 pm when the festival ends. Drop off at Branford House is no later than 10:30 am; after drop off you may park in Area A or Area B lots. Public hours for the festival are 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

We hope you can join us for what will be an educational and fun day by the water at UConn Avery Point. We look forward to receiving your application.
Sincerely,
